What is a blockchain?
A blockchain is a continuously growing list of records, called blocks, which are linked and secured using cryptography.

* Enter your e-mail below if you're interested in getting involved with mining bitcoin.
How it all started: Here is a link to the original Satoshi white paper about Bitcoin, one of the most important documents of this century, which led to the birth of cryptocurrency.
Learn more: The documentary Banking on Bitcoin does a great job of getting people up to speed on cryptocurrency, how it came to be, and why it’s important using simple language.
The Market: Use the app CoinCap to keep track of the market capitalization (the number of coins in circulation x the price of the coins) at any given time. They also have a website.
Buying crypto: Coinbase is probably the most user friendly/trusted but currently limited to BTC (Bitcoin), ETH (Ethereum), LTC (Litecoin), and BCH (Bitcoin Cash).
Blockchain: Blockchain.info is a great place to verify transactions, and look up records in the blockchain, especially important if you are interested in mining, etc. Etherscan.io is another good site for verifying transactions on the Ethereum blockchain.
Security: When you own crypto, security is important! I use a Ledger Nano S wallet. You can also use a paper wallet (printing it out and putting it somewhere safe) or a Trezor Wallet. Do not keep your cryptocurrency on exchanges long term. There is no way to get your coins back if you lose/forget/have your private keys stolen.
Online training: Here is the only course I fully support and stand behind to learn more about cryptocurrency alongside sound and proven investment strategies.
Fund and accelerator: I run strategic partnerships for this blockchain fund and accelerator if you’re interested in getting involved (investing, launching ICOs, consulting, etc).
Global Impact: Here is why we do what we do; a community creating a better world.
Connect: Feel free to connect with me on Facebook or e-mail me (email@example.com) if you have questions that aren’t covered above (please don’t ask for investment advice).
